Paulo Henrique Lemelle Fernandes has recently joined the Roberts Computer Science faculty. He has served as a professor at PUCRS University, Porto Alegre, Brazil, Visiting Researcher at LFCS, University of Edinburgh, UK in 2007-2008, and a Visiting Professor at IT Division, University of South Florida, USA in 2013.
He is an active researcher in Stochastic Modeling domain awarded by CNPq (Brazilian Ministry of Science funding agency) grants continuously since August 1998. He has also acted as Principal Investigator in several projects funded by both Governmental Agencies and Private and Public Companies. Notably PETROBRAS oil company, Siemens USA and Siemens Brazil, Brazilian (CNPq, CAPES, FINEP and FAPERGS) and European (COFECUB) funding agencies.
